Ancient Europe

Ancient Europe,  like other ancient part of world which is full of mysteries. There is still many questions need to be answered. Our stop of ancient Europe will included Europe around 2000BC and then come to 500BC. We will also come to Mediterranean Sea and the Northern and Western parts of Europe.

Firstly, lets have a look Europe around 2000 BC. Around 2000BC, only some parts situated around the Mediterranean Sea  (modern Greece, Turkey and much later Italy and Spain).  Let’s see one picture of MediterraneanSea.  It was an important route for merchants and travelers of ancient times that allowed for trade and cultural exchange between emergent peoples of the region.

Come on, let’s go to next stop: the Northern and Western parts before 500 BC. It is still a "black hole" in the 21st century and it will never be fully discovered because there is no written history about this period then only some rock inscriptions in modern France and Germany. There is a map about the Northern and Western parts before 500 BC

There are only little things we know about Western-Europe which was already inhabited for ten thousands of years before civilized communities made contact with the natives. The first written stories about Western and Northern Europe we can find in the writings of Homer, Herodotus and other early Greek writers from the 5th and 4th century BC .They wrote most of their stories from travelers. This is a picture of Homer.
Ok, this is the end of our trip of Ancient Europe. We will bring you to some ancient Asia places in a few days. Please come with us and don’t be late.
